DIY Nail Polish Jewelry

Stumbling around the blogosphere Saturday, I came across this jewelry revamp idea at Trampling Ice cream. Which led me to remember this post I liked for keepsake on tumblr. And this nail polish shoe tutorial over at The Dainty Squid. Nail Polish making all the difference since people started using it on anything but nails.
Coincidentally a Rhinestone Brooch came into my possession on Saturday also. I tried it out. I love it. Rhinestone jewelry is now on my "to thrift" list, always.
oh the color combinations

  1. That looks so good! I often look for rhinestone jewelry but never seem to find it. I'll have to keep my eyes open!

    1. Good luck! I haven't before, I'm hoping it's easier to find around here.

  2. SOOO cute. Great job; this will be perfect for cheap rhinestone-y jewelry that is worn or just not in style anymore. How many coats did you use?

    1. It depends on the polish. I only double coated for the yellow, the other two were just one coat.
